Custom Orders

Custom Orders:

For Custom order request, simply submit your request via my contact form to get started. Please provide as much information as possible, type of jewelry (i.e. pendant, bracelet, earrings, etc.) including size, price point and inspiration source, if applicable (i.e. previous work), and choice of materials, including stone and color preference and metals (available as follows): 18KT Gold, 14/20KT Gold-filled, Fine or Sterling Silver, or Copper.

Establishing these preferences beforehand accelerates the custom request process, and proves especially useful when time constraints are an issue. If adjustments are necessary to stay within your budget, I will do my best to accommodate.

Deposits:

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before work begins to cover design time, any prototyping and materials used, and at a minimum will be as follows $100.00 for copper,silver/gold-filled items. Deposits may exceed the minimum and are non-refundable if the customer decides not to proceed with the making of the design. An initial design drawing and periodic updates will be provided to the customer as work progresses. An image of the finished product is emailed for final approval before the remaining balance is invoiced. Redesigns are available billed at an hourly rate of $30.00 per hour with no limit. All fees are applied to the final purchase price, which are independent of shipping costs, and the balance of which is due upon completion of the order. Custom orders will be completed and shipped within six to eight weeks, dependent upon current work load.

All designs remain the sole intellectual property of Adams Handcrafted Jewelry, and it's owners and may be used in whole or part as the basis for other jewelry designs. By submitting a deposit you agree to the terms of this arrangement and its policies.

Things To Note About Custom Orders

With the One-of-a-kind nature of the jewelry I create, I am unable to replicate most designs due to gemstone / cabochon availability with respect to size, color and shape. Because of this fact I am no longer taking special commission custom orders on previous designs.

Please do not request work based on the designs of others. Under no circumstances will these requests be addressed.
